Daily Small surprises that cheer you up!!

Hi there,

Something motivates me to pen this down.

Of late I am experiencing lot of small yet lovely surprises that not only cheer me up but moulds my thinking.

Few days back while I was waiting at the platform. My train came and I boarded it. Later I realised there was a lot of chaos and discussion. Upon hearing carefully I came to know the door of next compartment was closed and locked. Everyone was sitting and cribbing its a big discomfort it would cause to existing passenger and also to the one that would get it at the next station.

Next station approached but the discussion still continued. I am normally engrossed in my own world with my favorite tracks playing on my cell phone or on radio. I just plugged out the earphones to check nothing was serious and when I realised it was the on-going cribbing, I put it on and got lost in my world of music, divine shlok that I have treasured in my mobile memory. I love hearing them in the morning.

Suddenly I saw a sleek lady getting up and attempting to open the door. She was neither attractive nor powerful but dont know why my eyes kept glued to her. She kept trying to open the door. After a few minutes another lady joined her in the mission. Now the effort doubled. After a span of 15 minutes dedicated effort, they managed to open the locked door.

What followed was an amazing sight. All ladies in the entire compartment cheered to their success, clapped, exclaimed Bravo!!!!!!, Well Done!!!!!! and there were smiles all over.

Couldn't understand why but I felt so happy and smiled to myself. Later at night when I was reminising the day's flow, I suddenly remember the incident and smile automatically returned to my face.

Such a small petty incident but taught me two very important lessons - Never judge a book by its cover - there is nothing in a caterpillar that tells it is going to be a butterfly :-) Second lovely thought was never say die attitude could do the impossible and what follows is a big cheer that makes you feel so good about yourself :-)

Similarly again in train few days back after I boarded the train and was lost in my divine shloks, I over heard an argument. Somehow I tend to ignore it but after sometime since it was ongoing just thought of checking what the entire mess was all about.

Here was a lady fighting with another lady who had second class pass but had got in first class compartment. The elite lady was telling her all possible things, punishments, reasons to get down and go in second class while the other jerk was very adamant not to budge. Infact she was impolite and irritating with the arguments.

Suddenly all eyebrows raised and some more ladies joined in the persuation to get the jerk out. They threatened her to call the Ticket collector and throw her out. The jerk was least affected and said do what ever rubbish you wish am not going to move.

Suddenly the station approached a lady told me to check if there was ticket collector on platform. I nodded. Although am rarely a party to such a commotion but this irritating buggar actually was getting on to everyones nerves.

While the station approached unknowingly I started praying to get a ticket collector, but my eyes could not see anyone.

Being disappointment I nodded to the lady there was no one. Till the time we exchanged the glance there came a loud order - Tickets!!!! Passes!!! please.

I was shocked as well as happy to see from no where the TC had emerged. I quickly opened my bag and showed her my pass but she just jerked my hand. That was very rude I thought.

She went to the jerk and asked for pass. She said I dont have. The TC caught hold of her and dragged her out of the compartment. The train started. Everyone was quiet. After few second the TC exclaimed Yeah!!!! Hurray!!! and gave a Hi Fi to elite lady

I was surprised but quickly understood this was no TC but a lady next door who created the entire drama and helped solve the complex situation.

Something really made me feel happy. There is so much pleasure to jointly solve a problem and bump on an amazingly surprising solution.

I smiled to myself and said good thought for you baby :-)
