Foreigners came to celebrates Christmas on the Cruise in Kashmir

Srinagar: Following the peace prevailed in the Kashmir the foreigners are not only showing interest to visit the Valley but also comes here to celebrate the festival. On the celebration of Christmas, a group of foreigners came to the Kashmir and celebrated the Christmas here with fervor and joy.
The time when lakhs of people were celebrated the Christmas festival, a group of foreigners who came here from different parts of the world including Singapore, Thailand, Japan celebrated Christmas here on the Cruise (big boat) in the famed Dal Lake.
Sharing her experience about the celebration of Christmas here in the Valley to the Agence India Press, Yang hailing from Singapore, said, "It is a great pleasure for me to celebrate Christmas here in Kashmir. It was a totally different experience to celebrate this festival here in the peaceful atmosphere. I made up my mind very earlier to celebrate this festival with the Kashmiri brethren."
She also lauded the beauty of Kashmiri and said, "Kashmir is really heaven on earth and the people here are very nice."
She suggests other foreigners to Visit here and said, "Peace has returned in Kashmir and people should come here to see its beauty."
A group of 25 people from the different parts of the world who came to the Valley and celebrated the Christmas here. They went on the cruise (big boat) in the Dal Lake and made fun, joy together.
There was the music, dance, amidst in the serene ambience of Dal Lake. The Kashmiri Muslims also joined them to celebrate this festival together here on the cruise. (AIP News)
