Smugglers Cove in St Lucia gets seriously festive for the holidays

With Christmas drawing ever closer, the luxury Smugglers Cove hotel in St Lucia is dressing for the festive season with the unveiling of a full activity and entertainment-packed Christmas and New Years holidays programme.

Already sporting Christmas gear and festive cheer, Smugglers Cove is all dressed up and decked up to welcome the festive season. From lights, to decorations and giant Christmas trees, the exclusive St Lucia hotel has created a unique environment of jolly and colourful traditional Christmas décor so that guests can be wrapped around by up the festive spirit and feel right at home during the season's celebrations.

The planned celebrations will kick-start on Friday 23rd December with a fantastic programme of cheerful activities that everyone enjoying St Lucia holidays at the resort will love, especially the little ones. There will be a little bit of Christmas cheer present at all of the resort's restaurant with live a duet singing traditional Christmas songs at the Waterside Grill, a soloist trio at La Trattoria, and old and new Christmas favourite tunes playing at Café Asia and Cove. In addition to add, a team of traditional Christmas carollers will be singing at the Piton Lounge in the evening while a Caribbean Party is then staged and DJ Shannon takes over at 11pm and gets everyone in the Christmas mood at Tommy's Rum Shop.

The jam-packed programme of activities will continue every day until New Years' day with a different set of entertainment options planned for each and with plenty of choice to suite every age group an every family member. Children will enjoy craft-making workshops, t-shirt dyeing and so much more!

On Christmas Eve children will get help from the resort's minders to create and personalise their very own New Year's Cards. To keep them busy until Santa comes they will then be taken to a treasure hunt adventure and various garden games until noon. After lunch they will get to enjoy a puppet show and enjoy ice-cream. What more could parents ask for when it comes to enjoying family holidays in St Lucia during the festive season?

For adults there will be non-stop party and cheer everywhere at the resort, with Partee Partee! Kicking off at 8pm, followed by a performance by Movement International Dancers which will then be followed by a Break-Away Partee….and yes, you've guessed it there will be a Have a Very Very Merry Christmas festive event offering the ultimate "GLO FETE" experience at 11pm and carrying on until the early hours of Christmas Day.

There will be a New Years Day Tea Party just for the children kicking off just after lunch time and a New Years Day Music Fiesta combined with a showcase display of locally fashioned designs for men women and children.

New Years Day will see everyone gathering together for a Grand Karaoke session followed by a DJ party session and Rock N Roll party from 11pm until the early hours of the morning. On New Years' Day there will also be a Beach Side Bonfire resolution giving guests enjoying winter holidays in St Lucia the chance to start anew and make a solemn resolution under the clear Caribbean skies and to the cheerful tunes of live music played by the resort's very own musicians.

And best of it all is that everyone enjoying festive St Lucia holidays at Smugglers Cove this winter season will be able to drink, dance, rejoice and be merry without worrying about the bill on checkout as the resort will make the Christmas package an all inclusive event, where all guests have to worry about is party, party, party!!
